Nvidia GTX 680 vs AMD HD 7970

Nvidia GTX 680 vs AMD HD 7970

AMD is preparing their Radeon HD 7800 Series, based on Pitcairn gpu, to be released in March, while NVIDIA, with its most anticipated GeForce 600, is to launch new series in April.

According to DigiTimes, AMD will release their newest mid-range Radeon 7800 graphics cards in March. Radeon HD 7870, Radeon HD 7850 and later Radeon HD 7890 are expected to fill gap between HD7900 and HD7700 Series. You can check the specifications that we update regularly with all the rumours floating around the web: HD 7870, HD 7850.

On the other side, we have NVIDIA preparing their GeForce 600 Series with GTX690, GTX680, GTX660, GTX650 and GTX640 – all said to be based on GK104 and GK106 cores. According to DigiTimes NVIDIA will release up to 8 graphics cards models in April. So just after the dust settles after Radeons release NVIDIA will begin their offensive, and according to multiple sources it may take the lead in performance for some longer time.

P.S. This is Not a Sample it's Just an 3D MAX Opject ..

So let's Compare Those Cards ...
Soon We'll have a full benchmarks for them ...

here is a GPU built on the same 28nm process as the 7900 series with a configuration of 10 compute units (640 Stream Processors), 512KB of L2 Read-Write cache and 16 ROPS. To emphasise the similarities with the 7900 series
While the previous-generation HD 5770/6770 "Juniper" GPU featured VLIW5 stream processors, the new "Cape Verde" GPU, which will go into making up Radeon HD 7770 and 7750, will feature GCN stream processors
